The New Residenz is a beautiful white palace located on Residence Square (Residenzplatz) in Salzburg Austria. It was built in the late 1500s.
The tower at the front of the building was added later, along with its famous carillon, the "Glockenspiel".

Visitors to Salzburg can climb the stairs to the top of the tower and enjoy a great view of the city.
The New Residenz is situated across Residenzplatz (square) from the original Residenz palace. At the centre of that square is a beautiful fountain.
