Hotels in New Town

There is a broad selection of hotels available in Salzburg's "New Town".  Many are located on or near Linzergasse, the main pedestrian street.

Due to the city's size and density, it is easy to walk from the New Town to the attractions located in the Altstadt (Old Town).

The Old Town is located on the opposite side (i.e. western side) of the Salzach River.

If you are arrive in Salzburg by train, there a few hotels located right at the Hauptbahnhof Salzburg, the central train station.

From the train station, one can either walk or catch a local bus to town. The walks take 15-20 minutes.
